Whoever decided to raise prices obviously needs to listen to the beer song (warning: 1.4meg file, needs sound) a lot more before they make such stupid decisions.



With the help of Hera (thanks!!) I dyed my hair blue again last night. This time I turned out even darker (and better) than when the hairdressers did it. I used a darker blue fudge too. I think probably the biggest help was fact I left it in for 45mins (the packet says 30mins max.) Or it ight help my flesh to peel off my scalp, who knows? It seems to be OK at the moment though.

I'm just sucking back a tasty coffee from StarBucks. Ever since I read the book NoLogo I've been kind of loathe to go there... But then again they do actually make...

God I'm slack. I rushed home last night to pack more boxes of stuff. Most of the small crap has moved out of ol' Landscape Road and made it's way to Canal Road. There is still lots of to, but more of the stuff I really care about has made it. Of course, in my rush (I wanted to get back to watch Ab Fab, didn't I?)


I forgot my razors anyway, so I had to buy some at the 24 hour shop this morning and have a shave in a work. I'm a slacker. I'm just ranting today, ignore me.

What else? This network of ours... Sigh.


It's too much hassle at the moment, it really is. No point going into details cause it's all technical stuff, but seesh. This weekend is the weekend that we have our maintence window, ie: When I get to stay up for 24...

Stupid blue hair. It's faded way to quickly. I went and brought some more fudge today, it's only $5 for a bottle of dye. I didn't realise how cheap it is. Seeing as my hair is already bleached I should be able to put it in with minimal problems tonight. We'll see.




Not much else. Caught the bus into work this morning at 8am. Didn't get to work until 9am.


I was going to catch the train but when it pulled into the station at 8 it was so packed with people already it was standing room only. I was not about to stand up for a 35 minute ride into town so I didn't bother. I think it's going to have to be a case of getting up a bit earlier to beat the rush, I don't want to be spending an hour each day stuck in traffic/standing on...

Today is one of those days I'm always going to remember. You can ask me why if you want to, I might tell you or I might not hehe. I woke up hungover as... I know, I know. It's Tuesday. I went out last night with the boss and we had a few drinks here and there. And everywhere else as well. I haven't seen him today but as I understand it he's feeling a tiny little bit under the weather himself too. Given the state he was in when I left (not healthy) this doesn't really suprise me a great deal. We had a bunch of fun though. He doesn't even mind the blue hair.

Speaking of blue hair, it's fading way too fast, it's very upsetting. I've only had 1 person give me shit about it, most people think that it actually suits me. I don't know if...

Yup, I've moved in with Hera today. In fact I'm sitting here drinking a Tui and typing this on her computer. I've only moved out my bed and a few other necessary things (stereo, coffee machine)

I'll move the rest tomorrow when I can be bothered. There's so much stuff I really don't know where to start, but I'll form a battle plan and worry about it tomorrow.

Arrrgh!

Fucking Telecom. They're the people who provide me with my phone, and it's my phone line that my ADSL (fast internet) service runs on top of. They have all these ads around town that says "It just works" and 99.999% uptime. Well it must be a different Telecom to the one my ADSL is connected to cause it goes down all the time. I'm writing this on Thursday night, though I won't get to post it until tomorrow morning cause of this stupid, so far 5 hour, outage. [Update: Ok, I lied. I woke up at 11:30, check it, and they've fixed it. Posted this and I'm going back to bed]


I have to get up again at 4am tomorrow to get into work by 5am. The work I did this morning didn't go as planned at all (not my fault mind you) so tomorrow we're going to try...

You have to love days like today. I leapt out of bed all happy and cheery (Ok, I lied) at 4am this morning and made my way into work at Queen St. Why was I up so early? Is is the excitment of getting my hair done blue today? No. It's work stuff. I've come in to do a quick card swap on one of our bits of equipment. Did I go as planned?? Please.... Don't make me laugh. It's caused the ol' 5am "rush of adrenaline" that I'm getting way to used to at the moment. Not fun!

So now I'm sitting here waiting for our vendor to call me back while I hope that it doesn't crash and burn anymore that it has already. At least at the moment none of our customers are affected, which is all that really matters. Hopeuflly it can stay that way, if...

It's going to happen people. This Thursday, at a time yet to be set, this is what the world is going to see. Except hopefully a brighter shade of blue. When I rang my boss this morning he said "Have you done it yet???" I said no. He wants to see a picture as soon as it is done! At least I have my bosses support heh. And don't worry mother, it's a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Probably.

Summer hockey again tonight. I am so unfit! I rode my bike there and I was puffed out before I got there! That's not what I'm usually like. Time to start a bit of a diet and some more exercise I thing.


At least we won tonight, what a bonus. Sometimes it's hard to keep your eyes on the ball though ;)

Not much exciting happening at the moment. My downstairs neighbour come up the other day and offered me a video to watch. It's a video about rock music, so I said I've love to but I don't have a video player. "Not a problem", he said. "Come down sometime and check it out". "Love To", I said. Garth is pretty cool and I've always got on well with my downstairs neighbour. We arranged a time to check it out (Sunday just gone, afternoon) and I said I'd see him then. Just as he was leaving he said "I'm sure you'll really like it. It's from the Christian perspective". Uh oh. Alarm bells. Big flashing sirens and stuff. I was working on a fault when...
