Not Much

Submitted by TiM on

Not much to report so far this week. It's 8:50am and I'm sitting at work drinking a nice milo. As you do on a Tuesday morning. I don't know what it is with the bus service around here, some days it's just totally packed, then other days like today you can get on and it just flys into town so quick it's not funny. I wish it would be more quick more often anyway.

Do people like that bit at the top of the front page that I update most days with werid stuff? I never know if it's worth doing or not. Lemme know.

Ummm yea. That's it. Nothing else exciting at all to report this week. I'll go and play in the traffic later, then I might have something interesting to talk about!!

Listening To Music I Don't Understand

Submitted by TiM on

Hello everyone! I'm sitting at home on Hera's computer, I left my laptop in at work on Friday night. I had to lend my key to one of our contractor's, totally forgetting I'd need to use the same key to get back into work to get all my stuff. It's ok, I'll be safe there until Monday when I head back to work.

Hera and Simon just got home, they're heading down to Hamilton today to get Annie. She's pretty much over her chickpox the poor thing. They had to take my car down there, Simon's got broken into on the weekend and the passenger window is all smashed in. My sad car isn't much better, it's developed a few feature where the right passenger window won't wind all the way up. That's the problem with power windows, when they fuck up they fuck up good and proper. Have I...

Stoked!!!... and a sore neck

Submitted by Bianca on

Hey ppl!! Long time no post :) I´m always running around with uni and shifts so I don´t have the time to keep my own journal, that´s why I´m always bludging Timmy´s ;)

Heh, as you all heard, Tim is coming over to see me!! I couldn´t believe it when he said he had been thinking about it, now everything is pretty much set... Roll on July 6th!! I´m so stoked, I think I´ll have trouble sleeping for the whole month before he arrives eh :) I can´t wait to take him everywhere in Rio, to the beaches, to the rainforest, to the pub crawls... oops, did I say that out loud? ;) Don´t you worry Sallee, I´ll be taking such good care of him :)))

Apart from this excitement, uni and work have been the same :) It´s only hard to cope if you have a very sore neck...

My ex landlord is the most useless person in the world. I put in my bond retrevial application and he never bothered to write to the Tennancy Tribunal. That's a good thing for me though, at least I get my bond back tomorrow. It's about farking time!!!

That's all. Nothing else.

House Inspection

Submitted by TiM on

We had a house inspection today, which Hera tells me we passed with flying colours. Hera didn't tell me if she looked in my room or not, but based on the fact it seems to have gone so well I think it's safe to assume that she didn't look.

Umm that's really about all I have to write about today. Not very exciting huh? I'm not covered in spots yet. I don't think Hera is either, so maybe we're Ok and not about to come down with Chicken Pox. Touch wood we aren't anyway. I don't want spots all over me, and people freaking out when they see me. Hey... People already freak out when they see me? Hmmmmm...

No Hera tells me the lady did look in my room. The poor lady. But then Hera said "It's a boys room" and the lady just said "Figures, they're all like...

Stupid Entry Alert!

Submitted by TiM on

I got the weather thingy to work again. How geeky is that? That's right, very geeky!

I'm a bit special, today I was told to meet everyone over at the lab. I sped over to Takapuna. Only to find out that the lab is a 10 minute walk from the Queen St office. Ooops. I'm a bit stupid!

My new contract was approved today. I'm very happy about this.

I've never had Chicken Pox before. I'm not sure if I'm immunised. Hera isn't sure if she is either. Don't come near our house for a while.

I hear that it's really going around at the moment too. Not good.

You might have figured out by now this is one of those random babble entries. One that doesn't make a lot of sense.

Deal with it.

Tony sold his house on the weekend. He's been trying to sell it for 3...

The Fridge Thing Just Won't Die!

Submitted by TiM on

It seems that the fridge issue will not lie down and die a quiet death! Oh no, just as it was all settling down and me and Hera have started talking to each other again (Note: I am just kidding about this bit, in case you're not sure. Me and Hera get on great), Travers had to go and add this lively little comment. To which a few replies have since popped up! Go Trav!!!

Poor Annie has chickenpox! Hera and Simon have taken her down to her Nanna's today, she's going to stay down there for the week. I'm not sure if I've ever put a pic of my cute little flatmate on here, so here is a photo of Annie. Get well soon Annie!

What a slack day today! Because I went to bed so late Friday night (I went over to my friend Emi's place and we...

Friday Arvo and some photos to look at!

Submitted by TiM on

It's a crap rainy day here in Auckland, as usual. I got woken up this morning by the neighbour bashing on the window screaming "Hello? Hello?" at me. Turns out that Simon (Hera's BF) had parked the neighbours car in and he wasn't too pleased about it. At least it got me out of bed before 8am. Something that doesn't seem to have happened much this week!

I got a parcel in the mail from Bianca last night, my easter box! It had a bunch of photos in it too, some of which I scanned in today

Check these out:

Err, Bianca? Did you forget to tell me something?

Me working hard doing upgrades one night!

Bianca and her friend being mean to the test baby used for labour class

And of course, nothing at all to do with the...

First Day At Takapuna

Submitted by TiM on

My first day at Takapuna today! It took me ages to get out here, but that's just because I've got to take two buses to get here and the one that dropped me in Takapuna dropped me ages away from the TC building, so I had to walk about 5kms. But it's all good exercise!

Takapuna rocks, it's a really cool place to be and the atmosphere here seems a lot friendlier and more fun than the old office. The boss was out here too today and he showed me my new contract. Suffice to say I am a very happy man!!

Tonight I'm off to a comedy festival thing with my friend Emi, she's got a free ticket (I hope!) cause one of her workmates has called in sick (they're going as a big group)

Should be fun! But now I'm off to find a bus back into Auckland...

Runnin' Around

Submitted by TiM on

I woke up late this morning, I set my alarm for 6am and it went off, I thought "stuff this", reset it for 7am and when it went off I went back to sleep. Ooops, waking up at 8:40am isn't really the best way to start the day. At least there's one good thing about today and that's that it's pay day.

I made my way into work and promptly spent most of my pay! I put down a deposit on my flight to Rio, ran around getting photos and documents so I could get my visa to Brazil. I'm really hoping I get my visa or I'm a little stuffed for getting my money back. And it means I can't go anyway! But I spoke to the visa people and they said they can't see any reason why a visa would be refused.

Except prehaps for the fact I'm...
