Holy shit, it's not raining.

Submitted by TiM on

Wow, it's not raining tonight in Auckland. That's pretty amazing, seeing as how shit it's been here for the whole week. It looked perfect as I left this morning to catch the bus, but not. I got pissed on. Shit happens.

Yes I did write more than just shite about the weather. As usual though it's just a bunch of crap, click "Read More" only if you're extra bored and want to put yourself to sleep. Screaming.

I went and got myself a haircut today. It was getting pretty long and crappy. I was keen to shave it off totally bald again like I usually would, but it's just too damn cold in Auckland at the moment to justify a totally shaved head. I'd get frostbite on my head and then my ears would snap off. Not a good look.

You can now send me abuse without having to leave...

Auckland Violence!

Submitted by TiM on

While being a good little boy and waiting at the bus stop tonight, I thought I'd go up and get myself a drink from the shop. It's only about 40 seconds walk from the bus stop up the hill. As I was walking up to the shop I noticed this group of Asian people all standing around going "ching chong fong wop" at an amazing rate of knots, all looking at each other very excited and crazy. They'd formed a circle around this guy lying on the ground, who'd obviously been in a fight or fallen over or something, blood pouring down his face and looking pretty shat off with the world in general. One of the people standing in the circle was talking hurriedly on the phone, I assumed to the cops, so I went into the store, brought myself a drink and walked down to the bus stop...

Werid Stuff and a Terrible Joke

People are always sending me werid shit (thanks Paddy!)

If you have some werid stuff send it to me so I can post it up here for all to see.

The Shit Auckland weather continues. I had to run to the bus stop this morning due to the huge massive downpour. I managed to get there without getting wet at all though, it was perfect timing, the rain started to piss just as I got in the shelter.

I guess I could buy myself a raincoat and it probably wouldn't be so much of a hassle. But do I look that sensable? Of course not.

Just the usual yadda yadda again today, not much else exciting happening. Work is pretty busy... I'm not sure when we're moving over to Takapuna, the boss is up here in Auckland again tomorrow so I guess it'll get discussed with him some more then...

Ginger Beer

Submitted by TiM on

Well all it did on the weekend was rain pretty much. I didn't get up to anything exciting at all. My car still stinks (did I tell you this already?) because of a dead sock that got left it in. For ages. It smells bad, looks ugly and I hate it with a passion. Therefore I hate to drive it. The bus system sucks, and you really can't ride a BMX that far.

And yes, I'm just making excuses for being boring.

I think I'm going to start brewing ginger beer. I love Bundy Ginger beer, but it's too expensive to buy all the time (though it's cheaper than normal beer)

I remember when I was little mum used to brew us ginger beer and it was always really really tasty, better than the stuff you get out of the bottle. I think I might start making some! I've made...

16 REASONS WHY ALCOHOL SHOULD BE SERVED AT WORK...

1. It's an incentive to show up.

2. It leads to more honest communications.

3. It reduces complaints about low pay.

4. Employees tell management what they think, not what they want to hear.

5. It encourages car pooling.

6. Increase job satisfaction because if you have a bad job, you don't care.

7. It eliminates vacations because people would rather come to work.

8. It makes fellow employees look better.

9. It makes the cafeteria food taste better.

10. Bosses are more likely to hand out

raises when they are wasted.

11. Salary negotiations are a lot more profitable.

12. Employees work later since there's no longer a need to relax at the bar.

13. It makes everyone more open with their ideas.

14. Eliminates the need for employees to get drunk on their lunchbreak.

15. Employees no longer need...

That's all. If you want something interesting to read, read Denny's journal instead. Or just run around screaming.
Oh yea, we got some "cool" bright orange TelstraClear T-Shirts and mugs etc today. I've already replaced the "Clear" with "Beer" on my mug. Welcome to TelstraBeer, how may I help you?

Have a good weekend everyone!

The lady from the passport place just rang me a minute ago. Those nutters in Brazil have approved my visa (click here [removed] if you want to see what it looks like). Obviously dags are allowed into the country!! Now all I have to do is pay my final bit of my airfare and wait another 43 days! Rolly on July!

Went out last night with some people from work. To start with we went to this dodgy little indian place that I go to for lunch sometimes. I always get takeaway though, I've never actually stayed in there for a meal. Boy, what a show that was. They had NO idea about table service. The guy served our beers in cordial glasses, he basically threw the knifes and forks onto the table for us to arrange ourselves. The poor guy was so flustered, he couldn't figure out why everytime...

Sitting on da bus

I'm sitting on the bus typing this into my palm pilot.

Its another shit auckland night, totally pissing with rain.

The guy next to me just got on the bus totally dripping wet and chucked his wet umbrella on me almost. An evil glare has almost sorted that out. He's sitting right next to me, I hope he can't read what I'm scrawling. I doubt it. I guess its illegal to thump your fellow passengers for doing that though. I'm still dry, but I don't know for how much longer, once I get off I'll have to do some pretty serious running.

Only $1,800 left to pay off my Rio trip now!! The time is going quick too. Unlike this fuckin bus. I guess I should give the poor busdriver some credit though, I'd hate to be driving a bus full of grumpy soaking cold people in this weather and...
