I love pasta. It's so easy to cook and yet so totally tasty. I brought the good stuff that you boil in water, then heat up the sauce and pour it over. Mmmm. Tasty. I'm watching American Beauty on Sky at the moment. It's a fantastic movie. One of the best movies I've seen in a while, that's why I'm watching it again.



There is only babble and wibble below, so don't read it if you're hoping for some really juicy gossip or anything. Then again I could just be saying that to throw you off the scent!

Arrrrrgh no! s3.sxb is down! What can that mean? The end of the world? No! Has the network exploded? No! Arrrgh what's going on! It's down! With an exclamation mark! Do I care about s3.sxb? Hmm. No, I don't.

What the hell am I on about? That's just one of the emails I got today. Seems some bad bad stuff happened to the network last night. No one got called though, and I wake up this morning and the network looks pretty radically different to how it used to look. Rather interesting Saturday morning I can tell you. Esp as I've still got this damn cold. It seems that almost everyone at work has come down with it in one form or another, people are talking about Takapuna having the "sick building syndrome"



I want a place on my Journal where I can write stuff of a more personal nature...

Last Saturday Simon brought a digital camera. We took it to the party we went to Saturday night and tested it out. I've grabbed a few of the photos from all the ones and put them right here. Enjoy! I can't really talk this morning. It's really interesting. I've had a cold for the last few days, it hasn't really bothered me until today, I feel really run down and tired. And I can't really talk, I can only croak. Most annoying, considering I have to go to a customer meeting in the next hour.

Thanks "The Other Tim" for sending me a bunch of new MP3's to listen to. At least they're keeping me going today. The new Red Hot Chilli Peppers album isn't too bad at all.

Well shit, I don't have anything else to say today. So I'll shutup.

I've been living in a dream! I totally thought that yesterday was Thursday and today was Friday. It wasn't till I got up this morning and Simon got up too and said "Only two days of work left" and I said "Are you working on Saturday?" and he said, no, today's Thursday that I realised he was right. If you read yesterday's entry you'll see I thought that it was my last day at work, well, my last day was always going to be a Thursday. Oh well.

One extra day added to the week. Bugger.

I went home last night and went to bed at 7pm! Totally fell asleep. Then wokeup at about 10pm and couldn't get back to sleep. Just as I thought I was getting out of my werid sleeping patterns too. It seems lots of people I know are having sleeping problems at the moment. Maybe...

Nothing really to say today, so I'm just going to throw together a pile of babble and call that an entry. Got a problem with that? Well, you can always go somewhere else much more interesting than here. It's not like the entries are usually very high quality or anything anyway.

Our shower is getting fixed today. Yaaaa. It's really crappy at the moment, you get plenty of water pressure as long as you don't want hot water with it. Soon as you crank up the hot water it goes all crappy and drippy and sad. Very annoying. But the repair man is there at the moment Hera says, so when I get home tonight I can have a real shower. Haven't had one of those in a while.



It's stink weather in Auckland still. I didn't get much sleep last night cause something right outside my window was dripping...

Mmmmmmm Sunday night. Hera is cooking a chicken roast and already it smells really nice. I know it will rock, her roasts always do.

It's been a really cool weekend, I'm finally over my illness. Again, I'm still not quite 100% but I'm still taking my antibiotics so I'm sure I'll 100% fine really soon.

Saturday I slept in late, got up and did a heap of washing. I mean, a heap. It was two full loads of washing in the washing machine, just nuts. I picked up every bit of clothing that I could find in my room, presumed clean or otherwise and chucked it in there. Once washed I took it all up (damp still) to the little chinese laundry man to get them dry, seeing as, you guessed it, it was pissing with rain here.



Then, and hold on tight here people, it's about to get...

I'm slow getting better, the antibiotics that the Dr gave me seem to be kicking in slowly. When I had a shave before I had to press gently because I could still feel my tonsils are very swollen and sore. If I ever get Tonsilitus again I hope they just cut to the chase and rip the stupid things out. I mean, what have my tonsils ever done for me? Apart from get infected and cause me lots of grief. I'll tell you what they've done, shall I? Nothing. Yes, nothing. (Note: This is possibly not true, I'm not a Doctor. I refuse to let the truth get in the way of a good rant though)

I don't think I'll be heading into work tomorrow though, the Dr suggested I take the whole week off and the weekend to recover properly, plus the medical certificate he gave me says I'm...
