Work today was hell.

In other news, I may be in Sydney for more than a week. Depends how things go with Telstra and a few other people. Could be there for a while. I'll have to be sure to pack my guitar.

I went and watched Emi play in the Orchestra yesterday. It was a pretty good performance too, they had this 13 year old girl who was one of those "I can play the hardest thing on violin and make it look easy" type people. But she did this really excellent song called the Hot Canary, which the auidence went nuts for. And lets face it, it's not often you see an auidence go nuts at a classical concert. But she was worth it, it was pretty amazing stuff.

After that we went and watched the movie Ghost World, which was easily one of the best movies I have seen in ages. It wasn't your typical hollywood crap either. It almost didn't make much sense. I mean, it did, but in a werid way. If you get a chance to go and see it, definetly go. IT's worth it. I...

People have been complaining that I don't update enough anymore. Please accept my humble apologies, I will endevour to write more crap more often.



Ummm what can I write about? I've had heaps of people give me lots of cool Live Reel Big Fish stuff. The internet is wicked for finding all those nearly impossible to get songs. I now have a whole CD worth of RBF Live stuff and rare songs. I think I'm becoming a bit of a nut. Of course, there are those who will argue that this took place many years ago. I hope these people fall down a well.

All of the gear I have been working on for the last week and a bit in the Sydmonds St Lab was all packed up nicely yesterday (not by me! I'm a techie, we don't TOUCH the stuff heh) and shipped off to Australia. Thursday night...

I'm off to Sydney on the 21st of November, back again on Saturday the 30th. A weekend on the company, won't be too bad I guess. I doubt I'll have to much time to enjoy myself with all the stress and hassle and worry of the project. Oh well.



Giant Santa is back up. I haven't noticed if he's animated or not this year, but I've not really taken much notice. I must check again on my way into work tomorrow. I will try and remember to take a photo this year too, it's the dodgiest thing.

Work is hell. What else can I say about it?



TV4 haven't written back to me after I wrote them a mostly polite letter. That's bad customer service that is. I'll still watch SouthPark tomorrow night on TV4 though, so I guess all is not lost.

I can't belive the shit they put on TV these days. I really don't watch it much anymore, but being bored as tonight I thought I'd turn it on and see what's on.

I am a happy man. I have just been talking online to a fellow fish fan and he sent me a whole bunch of their rare hard to find songs. One of them is called average man and it totally rocks. If you have lots of bandwidth you can listen/download it from mp3.muppetz.com (now password protected)





Slept in until 3pm today. Not a bad efford there. I am the master of snoozing.



Me and Emi went and played pool this afternoon. She beat me twice, and I beat her twice. She's quite good at pool. For a girl. heh.



We went out last night to the Horse and Trap. They have Summer Ale on tap. A good night was had by all. Though I didn't manage to pickup and floozies, even though I was under order to do so.

Sorry for not updating for a while, but I've been flat out at work most of the time (I've been in our lab in Auckland all this week) and there's really not that much exiciting stuff I can tell you.

Emi's Birthday was good, we went out for a nice meal in Devonport. I brought her some things, including a gift voucher at Freedom Furniture, so no longer can she hassle me to spend mine. Heh.

Tonight we're going out to the Horse and Trap for their Summer Ale festival.

I now pretty much have everything ever released by Reel Big Fish. I've been going nuts at RealGroovy and buying everything of theirs they have there. The fish rock.

That's about it really! Sorry groovers.

Yaaa, Summer Ale is back and being made again. They only make this limited edition. It was out this time last year and it's the nicest beer with a bit of lime in it!

Emi's final birthday present has just rocked up, I sent her a huge big bunch of balloons to her work. She told me they didn't know it was her birthday, well, they'll sure as hell know now.

In other news, it was firecracker night last night so all it farking did was rain. I was of course, pissed off, but hey. I still have lots to left off so we can bugger off to some beach one night.

Umm that's about it really!

Just got back from a nice dinner out with Johnnie, we went to the Belgian Beer Cafe that me an the bossman went to the other week.

We had a really nice meal and a good chat about stuff, had a Cherry Beer (of course) and Johnnie tried one of the other Belgian Beers.

It was a nice night!

For the rest of the week I'll be working in town, yaaa. Not really that exciting, but it'll make a nice break from work. Not that I won't be working, but a change is as good as a holiday (unless you're Tim Fleming) and this'll be a nice change.

I sound like a broken record.



Dad also dropped of some photos that he took of me and Emi while we were up in Paihia, including some of the ones of us in the spa.
