The Poetry Master Strikes Again!

Submitted by TiM on

my tabby friend
the curious companion
never kiss a frisky chair
who will stroke my wild box
only lick that mischievous sofa
if you are a short fish
drink everything you see
can i play with her pussy or
have i stalked the perfect mouse
make like a bird and pounce my special pillow fang
beautiful whisker
post no heaven string

For Christmas I gave Emi some magnetic poetry (the "For Cat Lovers" edition). She stuck it on the side of her oven the other day, and I have been playing with it. That's what I finally came up with.

Impressive or what?

I just got given THE coolest discount card in the existant of discount cards.

I can't tell you what it says. Cause it's rude. But funny.

If you'd like to know ask Emi cause she sent it to me.

She's a dodgy girl.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2003 is well underway – many beers have been consumed and many hours spent lying in the sun - yes Auckland actually does have really good weather sometimes – but only so that the crap weather seems even crappier!

Yesterday was an action packed day! I woke up and made Tim his morning coffee, then I cooked him his eggs on toast, then I did some dishes and cleaned the flat – then Tim decided to haul himself outta my super comfortable “rock free zone” bed. Well.. his version of events might be a little different, but pretty close.

Feeling invigorated after all this activity – and knowing Tim’s true love of shopping I decided to treat him to the joys of Newmarket. I’m still looking for my perfect coffee maker, and we hunted for this for about 6 or 7 hours (time flies when you’re having...

Happy New Year

Submitted by TiM on

Goodbye 2002, Hello 2003! Me and Emi went into town just before the fireworks off the Sky Tower. It was an excellent show too.

Happy New Year everyone!

Me and Emi started off at home just having a few beers (Some Boags even! I brought a six pack when I was in Sydney!!) on the balcony at her place. Once it got dark and close enough to the time we caught a bus into town and found a good spot to be able to see the fireworks off the Sky Tower. Some party in town went off a little early, they were singing that stupid Aud-Lang whatever song before midnight. As soon as the town hall clock struck midnight, *boom* went the fireworks off the Sky Tower, it was spot on timing.

Once that was over we went and had a few beers at the Playhouse (cool pub...

I Suck At Bowling, Too.

The world is a small place. Tiny infact, thanks to the Internet. I got a call from KA last night to tell me that she was about to meet up with Matt. Matt is Emi's ex-flatmate (the good one, not the freakshow) who just moved down to ChristChurch. On Saturday.

Yesterday afternoon Emi and I went bowling. All the way on the bus I kept telling her what a master I was at bowling.
Well, it was a repeat of the Minigolf Incident all over again wasn't it. She beat me by about 10 points. It was fun though, but I think I hurt my shoulder.

Today is a nice sunny Monday. And I Don't Have To Go To Work!!! I think if I get keen later I might go for a walk up One Tree Hill. Even though it doesn't have a tree on it anymore.

Loud Shirt

Submitted by TiM on

I forgot to mention the other day about the cool presents I got for Christmas. Mum gave me this Mambo 'Loud Shirt'. It's an Australian Beer Tree. It's the most wicked of shirts. And now the coolest bit of clothing I own. It's really comfy too.

Emi brought me a really cool watch. The backlight turns on when you flick your wrist. Really funky. Dad brought me a Blues Brothers DVD. I LOVE the Blues Brothers, and this DVD has some stuff the original movie doesn't have. One of my biggest gripes with the movie was the orignal cut short John Lee Hooker before he'd finished playing. This version has the full performance. It's worth it just for that.

I got a bunch of other presents too, too many to list.

Last night I went over to Emi's to give her her presents. I got her a Bonsai Tree...

Our Little New Zealand Christmas Road Trip

Submitted by TiM on

My stupid computer just shat itself totally with a Blue Screen of Death. Fucking Windows 2000. It happened when I went to play a Reel Big Fish mp3 too. That's a bad omen. Anyway, I'm writing this on my linux machine, so even if Windows shits itself again it's not going anywhere. Anyway. Our Road Trip, take 2:

Nothing can stop the Beast of Death! Yesterday we got pulled over by the cops, and they tried to find a fault with it so they could take it off the road. Nice try Coppers, but the BoD isn't going down that easily.

Read on for the full roadtrip report...

Firstly, here is a map of New Zealand, so you can see the places I'm talking about.

Tuesday afternoon we loaded up the BoD for the big trip. The plan was to spend Christmas Eve in Taupo, then Christmas day in...

T'was The Day Before Christmas

And all through the house, not a creature was stiring, not even a mouse. Well except for Bill farting.

At working all was easy, there was nothing to fear. We all sat around, having a beer.

Yea ok. Enough shit poetry. I'm about to leave work for the day and go home and help pack the last bits and pieces before we all drive off down to Taupo.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Christmas, that Santa brings you all the presents you want and that no steamrollers suddenly come crashing through the roof at odd hours of the night.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Busy Day At Work!

Submitted by TiM on

Yup, it's a really really busy day at work. I'm not sure if I should watch movies or listen to music. There is only one other person my Auckland group who is in the office. Well, there was two, but Tony has just gone to work from home.

Mum's hair attempt the other day didn't quite turn out as planned. It's not much blonde highlights as just, well, blonde. The first attempt didn't even work, Mum had forgotten to put in the powder that does all the work. Ahh well, it worked the second time around.

We're going down to Taupo and Napier for Christmas. We're going to cook Christmas dinnner tomorrow and take it down in the Beast of Death tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

Not much other news really. Back to watching videos I think.
Err, I mean working. Working hard.
