The work coffee machine hates me. Everytime I go near it, it decides to go into non-working mode. Praise non-existant entities for the drip filter machine. It may not look as sexy as the other coffee machine, but at least the damn thing works. Anyway, you can't beat a cup of tea. Except for prehaps a shag, but that's not really a drink now, is it?
Not much exciting to report I'm afraid. Just the usual 2 days of working, not much else happening. Got home last night to an already cooked tea, hamburgers. Tasty hamburgers. John's girlfriend was up from Wellington. She should come up more often, she even cooked us Chocolate pudding on Sunday night. I think I could cook that if I tried, I'll have to give it a go later this week. The worst that can happen is the oven will explode.
Oh yea went and...
Firstly, I've upgraded the magical things that run my website today. So it's possible I've broken some things. If you see anything that's not working like it used to, please let me know.
Yesterday was Simon and Hera's wedding! I got up nice and early to get ready, plus I wanted to give myself lots of time to get there because I wasn't sure exactly where the wedding was being held and I didn't want to arrive late! One 9am came around though I was all dressed up in my suit, looking dead sexy and driving towards the wedding venue.
Driving towards the wedding venue I encountered snow, sun, hail and wind. It really was going to be one of those days. I arrived on time (thankfully) and we all waited for the bride to arrive. Simon was so excited (as you would be I guess!) but we were...
Everyone hates reading long "Whinge bitch moan" entries so all I am going to say today is that today totally sucked arse. It was one of the worst work days I've had in a while. More phone calls and fuckups than I needed. At least it wasn't the network that was at fault, just other shite.
It's getting better now though, just had tea and am watching TV having a few beers. I have been shopping and got exactly what I wanted for Simon and Hera's wedding tomorrow. Which I am looking foward to lots, the suit is all ready for action.
And that's really all I can be stuffed typing today. Plus I'm on my flatmates computer and I don't want to be here all night cause that's not really very social.
Stuff!

Sorry I haven't updated in the last few days. Having no Internet access at home makes it rather hard. Not being home makes it even harder. I got the phone line changed over to my name yesterday though, the Telecom man rang me up today to tell me that the ADSL would be installed on the 10th of the month. It's going to take that long because there's lots of flooding causing problem.
There hasn't been a day without rain here in Auckland for probably the last 30 days. I'm getting sick to death of it. Aucklanders can't drive at the best of times, but when it rains they all slow down and drive like mutants. Doesn't stop them all from crashing into each other though.
I got a letter from the CEO of TelstraClear (Rosmary Howard) the other day which thanked me for my hard work on the TVNZ...
Job-hunters warned over Friends Reunited entries.
Job-hunters are being urged not to leave candid admissions on the internet after one employee was forced to resign after describing her boss as a "bitch from Hell".
The 26-year-old PR account manager also called her employers "a bunch of cowboys" in an entry on the Friends Reunited website.
Recruitment company Media Contacts claims more and more employers were checking out potential candidates on the popular website and others similar to it.
The company said employers recently withdrew job offers to two clients following internet checks.
A 26-year-old senior sales executive was no longer deemed suitable after a potential employer discovered an entry on Friends Reunited revealing he only got his last job by "lying through his teeth at the interview". He also admitted his CV was "a masterpiece of creative writing".
A job offer was withdrawn from a media sales executive, 24, after...
Tonight there was a show on TV called "Test The Nation" or some other such bullshit. It's already been in Australia so all you Aussies will probably know what I'm talking about. Basically they run a show on TV and you all log onto a website and type in the answers and it gives you your IQ at the end of the show. You get to compare yourself with others around the country and generally feel good about yourself. I dunno, sounds like a load of horseshit to me. The people running it came to TelstraClear asking us to provide the Internet links for the show on the night. I was tasked as the Techie who would build the links and "watch over them" while the show was running on air, just in case anything happened.
It was 7pm and I had just finished eating tea (which I...
Rage against Auckland weather. I wanted to move my couches today, so all it did all day was piss with rain. Knowing that I want to move them tomorrow (well, I have to, no choice) I know it will continue to piss with rain. Rage against rain. And stuff. Yea.
Glad to see no one posted comments in the Futon Burning article. Not that the fact I "forgot" to enable comments would have had anything to do with that fact I'm sure. I think it's just a case of the fact you've all seen the light regarding their wonderful exciting brilliance. You know it's true.
Didn't do much last night either, just stayed in with Gary and John (flatmates) and had a few beers while we watched "Blues Brothers" on DVD. Basically it was more of a chance to chat and get to know each other a bit better. They're...

In other news, I'm very tired because I've been working flat out today. I didn't even get time for lunch until 3pm. But I feel like I've done 3 days work in 1 day, so that makes me happy. Plus I also get to drive the company Ford Mondao...
Attention All Futon Bashers: Shut Up!
No one cares that you're all insanely jealous of how comfortable my futon is. Futons rule. The have always ruled. They will always rule. You can all go sleep on your big squishy sponge things with nasty pointy springs, while I will lie comfortably on my warm comfortable futon. Attempting to prove to me otherwise will just reconfirm what I already know to be true: Futons rule. Thankyou.
In other news, me and Neil went out with the boss last night for tea, we went to this cool place in Takapuna called Sago. Peter spent half of the night winding up our waitress who seemed to have no clue. Our beers took 15 minutes to arrive, Peter's order of "no lettace" ment his burger arrived with my lettace than a rabbits turd would have in it. But the meals were good and made better...
