Really Quickly

Submitted by TiM on

Hello and stuff.

I have been working all night, it's now 6:30am and I'm about to go to bed. Even though I don't feel tired at all, I just feel like I am made out of concrete or something.

We moved today, it was lots of fun! Where fun = boring and tiring. But we got it all done, our old place is empty and our new place is messy and not really setup yet. We'll get there soon enough though.

That's all, it's time to try and get some sleep, though I don't think that'll happen with the light pouring in the window and those damn birds chirping. Happy little bastards.

Happy Halloween

Hi everyone, hope today is extra spooky and stuff. It hasn't been too spooky here, nothing has blown up or melted. Mind you I'm not really complaining about that fact, nothing worse than the old Friday afternoon fuckups we used to get all the time.

John brought himself a new car yesterday, a nice blue 1996 Telstar, New Zealand new. Most cars over here (mine included) are imported from Japan, so if you get an NZ new one you can be much more confidant of it's odometre reading and you'll get the owners manual for it. Nice little stuff like that. It's a nice car he's got anyway and it's got a towball, that should be able to help us out tonight because I'm told that we need to be out by tomorrow afternoon now! Arrrgh! Mad panic time!

Shouldn't take me too long to pack up my stuff, mostly...

I'm So Brave!

Submitted by TiM on

I donated blood today at work! I was so brave and tough, I only cried for 10 minutes after they put the huge sharp painful needle in me.

Actually it was nothing at all, not that I expected any different. I love the 500 questions you get, have you had sex with men? Are you a sex worker? Do you shoot drugs? Are you British? Seriously that was a question (something about mad cow disease) Funny as. Thankfully I managed to pass the strict "Dodgy things you've done" test (does this mean I'm boring?) and was allowed to give blood. I should have faked some questions then looked all dodgy in front of my workmates.

Umm what else? Nothing I don't think, just waiting for John to get home so we can look at his new car he bought today.

Ummm, can't think of anything else to tell you. Moving...

Whoops My Head Exploded!

I have been trying to organise flights today back to Australia! Arrrgh! Rage and screaming pain. It's so complicated. Thankfully I have a special travel agent and she's done some fantastic research to get some really great deals. Probably because it's in her best interests though.

In other news I was fucked off driving to work this morning, it took me 50 minutes. I can walk the distance in 45 minutes. It was pissing with rain though, that's why I drove, but fek. 50 minutes for a 5 minute drive! I need to invest in a raincoat.

Lots of work stuff today, there's the monthly work stuff happening this weekend. This will involve a large amount of happiness and joy, as per usual. At least I don't mind too much this time, I have a nice car to fang around in. Though I'll probably just take the MR2 into work...

Hello groovers, how are we all today? I hope nothing evil has happened to you and that all your limbs are still attached. I know mine are, at least they were when I last checked a while ago. I'm told I still look like I escaped from a mental ward though.

Click on to read about The Datsuns and some other random crap that I decided to post as well. You know you want to.

The Datsuns! The Datsuns ruled. We got there early when the first support act was playing. They were so shit, I wanted to get up there and replace the drummer. Now, I can't drum to save myself. But at least I'd have been interesting. The chick who was drumming was standing up. I mean, seriously, you're a drummer in a rock band. Why the hell are you standing up? Sit down and play seriously. At...

The Datsuns

It's time for The Datsuns tonight! I thought I'd double booked myself with Aaron's party but it turns out that his party isn't until next week. This is a good thing because The Datsuns rule the planet. Here is my review of them the first (and only other time) I saw them. I'm really looking forward to seeing them again tonight, hopefully they play a few new songs (they've only got 1 album out) because all their old ones total up to about 45 minutes playtime.

I'm just babbling crap anyway, I only woke up a little while ago from a nice midafternoon snooze. John and Gary got all keen this morning packing stuff up into boxes. I told them I'd start packing when we were allowed to actually move into the new place. I got a few "What's-your-attitude" type stares then they stopped packing. Probably a good thing, I...

Login to read my story about the weekend!

In other news though we found a new place to live today! John rang me up at 4pm and I left work to go and look at this new place! It's SO nice! High up with a lovely view (you can see my work and the Sky Tower) and a huge lounge. In fact it's got two lounge rooms plus a nice deck that gets the sun. We've already given our old landlord notice!

That's all, I'm off to cook hamburgers!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, been busy. I'm not about to update now either, but I will tomorrow sometime.

In the meantime, checkout these photos of us having a BBQ tonight. What a damn tasty BBQ it was too, even with lots of smoke and flames.

I'm So Good

Tonight I got home at 5pm, ripped into my washing, cleaned the toilet, cleaned the shower, tided my room. When I've finished cooked super tasty hamburgers I will go and give my poor car another wash. The last 2 days have been so lovely weather wise, sun sun and more sun. Of course I've been stuck inside for most of it. But i'm told that this weekend it's going to be sunny and nice the whole time. I hope so!

Last night I ended up spending most of my night working. We had a major network fault that needed looking at so I spent all night in front of my laptop typing away and getting annoyed with our stupid router. I have to go in again tonight to do some prep work in case it goes boom again. How annoying is that?

What else? Nothing more to say really... Powderfinger...
