I'm so happy! Today I picked up a mate of mine from work and drove him to work, on the way I was telling him about the problems my car was having with its electrical system. He said he'd come over at lunchtime and have a look at it, so when lunchtime rolled around we drove back to my place to have a look at the car. He soon found the problem, a very loose connection of the battery. John and I a while back had tightened the contacts that connect directly to the battery, but we'd missed this other vital bit that was extremely loose. Now that it's been tightened up the car is back to perfect, no more crazy dimming lights or problems starting, it's fantastic all over again! Last night I went to the Crusty Demons of Dirt. Amazing, it was boring as hell. We paid $75 a ticket for what we thought were the 2nd best tickets. Turns out the cheap seats had a much better view than we did, we could only see the bikes when they were in the air, that was it. Not the approach or the landing, just when they were flying over the jump. To top that off there was a loud obnoxious presenter who was stupid and annoying, he kept saying "C'mon Auckland give it up for..." and then some bike dude. I was bored out of my brain and thinking "How is anyone else enjoying this?" When they brought the kiddies on to ride their bikes someone else in my group yelled out "This is so fucking boring" and everyone else the group breathed a sigh of relief and agreed...

Sorry groovers, I've been meaning to update and everytime I go to I get sidetracked. What's been happening? Stuff all here I can tell you, working and sleeping. I was ment to go down to Wellington today for the weekend to say goodbye to a workmate, he's been with the company since day 0 pretty much and it'll be a real shame to see him go. I can't say I blame him though, everyone else in the company currently seems to be search for other jobs as well. Crazy.

Yea, so I was ment to go down but I can't, I don't trust my car to drive that far and back. It's still got crazy eletrical problems and when I took it to the local auto-electrican he laughed at me and told me to "take it away" when I told him I only had $300 to spend on getting it...

Had a planned card swap last night, should have taken 5 minutes instead took 5 hours. I hate it when things go wrong like that! We had to call Tech Support in the United States and we got some muppet who couldn't speak english and basically had no clue. I had more of an idea about the fault than he did. Finally once he realised he wasn't dealing with a customer who'd be happy with "Just turn your $70 thousand dollar switch off and on again" we got to level 2 technical support. He was still a trained monkey but at least this one sounded like he was able to peel his own bannans without assistance.

Finally I got back home about 2am, after some major panic and concern.... It was NOT a good night! I need more beauty sleep.

So I'm a bit tired grumpy and fucked off today...

Our new flatmate moved in last night, Craig his name is. He's a really nice guy too, very talkative and friendly, I think he's going to get on just fine with us. The first thing he did after he'd moved all his stuff into his bedroom was to go down the road and buy a box of beers, which we then sat around and drunk. Then feeling extra slack we went out and got Pizza Hut. Yummo.

It's been a hell busy day for me today, I running around last night like a mad bastard trying to fix a bung switch, then up again early this morning. Then I worked through till about 9:30pm tonight with another switch that was being a downright turdburgler. Actually the reason tonight's effort went tits up was because of bad record keeping.
